Staff Commitment & Promise

It is a privilege to be part of the Long Hollow Team. Becoming part of the team, we choose:

• I affirm the lordship of Jesus Christ in my life and commit to have a personal relationship with Him that is foundational to everything I am and do; I, and my family, commit to be active in Long Hollow Church, by attending and actively serving
  in ministry.
• I affirm that all staff positions at Long Hollow Church are expected to serve as if working for the Lord, and fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities at the highest levels of personal integrity and professional standards.
• I will not disclose confidential, and/or sensitive ministry information with other members of the church, and will use discretion when sharing with my spouse, if applicable.
• Out of respect for my coworkers, if I am married, I will not be alone with a member of the opposite sex, other than my spouse. If I am meeting with someone of the opposite sex, I will leave the door open or have a reliable eyewitness present. I recognize that unwanted and/or inappropriate texts, emails, or calls to someone of the opposite sex
  are grounds for immediate termination.
• I commit to maintain a Christian lifestyle of moral and sexual purity and will abstain from drinking alcohol and/or taking illegal drugs.
• I commit to promote unity in the church with my words. If I disagree with someone, I will talk to them about it, not someone else; and to follow the leadership of our Senior Pastor.
• I will support the mission of Long Hollow by being a biblically faithful, generous, and cheerful giver of my financial resources, my time, and my talents.
• I agree to comply with any policies or procedures stated in the Employee Handbook.
• I affirm Long Hollow’s Statement of Faith as stated in the church bylaws and my Employment Agreement.
